Zero-tolerance policy
Craft Yo Safari has a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) content across the platform, including in Safari Stories, our companion app for challenges, posts, comments, and trip capture. We are committed to protecting children and will take immediate action against any user who violates this policy. Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities.
1. Our commitment to child safety
The safety and protection of children is our highest priority. We are committed to:
- Creating a safe environment free from content that exploits or endangers minors.
- Complying with applicable child-protection laws, including COPPA and the PROTECT Act.
- Working with law enforcement to report and support the investigation of any suspected CSAE content.
- Continuously improving our detection and prevention practices.
- Educating our community about child safety.
This policy applies to all users, content, and activity on Craft Yo Safari and Safari Stories, including challenges, posts, comments, messages, and profile content.

3. How to report a concern
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, report it right away using any of the methods below.
In-app reporting (recommended)
- Open the post, comment, or profile you're concerned about.
- Tap the report option on that post, comment, or profile.
- Choose the reason that best describes the concern, and add as much detail as you can.
- Submit the report. Our team reviews it as described below.
Important: If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services first, before reporting to us.
4. Response timeframes
We treat every child safety report with the highest priority:
- Immediate: the reported content is removed and the account is suspended pending investigation.
- Within 24 hours: an initial review is completed, and relevant authorities are notified where required.
- Within 72 hours: a full investigation is completed and final action is taken.
- Within 7 days: the person who reported it is notified of the outcome.
5. Content moderation and review
We use a layered approach to content moderation:
5.1 Automated detection
- Automated scanning to help flag potential CSAM and other content that breaks this policy.
- Hash-matching against databases of known CSAM, where available for our content types.
- Automated flagging of suspicious behavior patterns.
5.2 Human review
- Child-safety reports are prioritized for immediate human review.
- Reviewers are trained on how to recognize and escalate CSAE concerns.
- Severe or unclear cases are escalated to senior reviewers before a final decision.
5.3 Proactive measures
- Regular review of moderation outcomes and reporting patterns.
- Cooperation with child safety organizations such as NCMEC and the IWF when needed.
- Ongoing improvement of our detection and review process.
6. Enforcement and consequences
Violations of this policy result in immediate and serious consequences:
Immediate actions
- Content removal: violating content is removed from the platform immediately.
- Account suspension: the account is suspended pending investigation.
- Permanent ban: confirmed violations result in permanent account termination.
Legal action
- Reporting to authorities: confirmed CSAM is reported to NCMEC and relevant law enforcement.
- Evidence preservation: we preserve relevant evidence to support legal proceedings.
- Cooperation: we cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
7. Age and account eligibility
Safari Stories is a family-friendly travel companion. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country) to hold their own account:
- You must meet the minimum age in your country to create an account.
- Misrepresenting your age is a violation of our Terms of Use.
- Accounts we believe are operated by a child under the required minimum age are suspended while we look into it.
Note:Children may appear in trip photos and videos captured by a parent or guardian's account as part of a family safari. This policy is about who can hold an account and what content is allowed, not about excluding families from the app.
